Wimbledon 2022: Zara Tindall and Mike Tindall lead royal arrivals

Zara and Mike Tindall packed the PDA when they watched the action at Wimbledon on Tuesday.

The Queen’s granddaughter, 41, placed her hand on her husband’s cheek and rested her head on his shoulder as they huddled together in the stands at the All England Club.

The couple appeared in typical good spirits and smiled and laughed as they joined the spectators for the second day of the tennis tournament.

Zara, a mother of three, looked elegant in her white midi dress that boasted a collar, button details and a flattering belt that cinched her waist.

The couple are the first senior royals to attend this year’s Wimbledon. The two-week tournament is popular with the royal family and the Duchess of Cambridge is expected to attend in the coming days.

The action at SW19 continues on Tuesday as Serena Williams, Rafael Nadal and Iga Swiatek take center stage on day two of Wimbledon.

On the opening day, defending champion Novak Djokovic started his tournament but did not put on an entirely convincing display, needing four sets to beat unseeded Kwon Soon-woo.

Emma Raducanu overcame a run to be fit for the tournament, and the 19-year-old showed no signs of any trouble as she put on a brilliant performance to defeat fit Alison Van Uytvanck in straight sets.

Andy Murray was last on Center Court, and the two-time Wimbledon champion gave the crowd their money’s worth by defeating a headstrong James Duckworth after dropping the first set.

Today, it will be No.1 seed Swiatek who will kick off the action on Center Court when she takes on Jana Fett. Next up will be Rafael Nadal against Francisco Cerundolo, before Williams returns, after a year away, against Harmony Tan.

Also hitting the pitch today will be Matteo Berrettini and Stefanos Tsitsipas on Court 1, and Coco Gauff and Dan Evans on Court 2.
