The Andersen EV Home Charger A2, available in 7kW and 22kW, is compatible with the full range of Jaguar Land Rover electric vehicles.

What makes the Andersen EV Charger different is its unparalleled focus on aesthetics. The A2 home charger comes with a hidden compartment where the charging cable and plug can be stored when not in use. Customers can choose from 96 diverse color and finish combinations, including precision-engineered metal or sustainable Accoya wood. The charging point is built to order at the Andersen EV factory in the UK.

The chargers will be installed in Jaguar Land Rover showrooms in the UK for customers to try them out. Customers can also place an order for the charger along with their chosen vehicle reservation. Andersen EV will then perform an on-site inspection and installation of the wall box.

Customers will also be able to monitor their energy usage and costs through their smartphone with Andersen EV’s Konnect+ app. The app also has a smart remote software lockout feature to ensure the charging point stays secure.

In a statement, Andersen EV Chief Executive Rob Mouser said: “We are delighted to partner with two world-renowned brands, Jaguar and Land Rover, and be a part of their respective electrified futures; collectively we share a passion for pioneering smart technology and service excellence. I’m sure Jaguar and Land Rover drivers love their homes as much as they love their vehicles, and now you have the opportunity to fit an attractive charger to fit your home design, built with genuine craftsmanship, unlike anything else. more on the market.”

In February 2021, Jaguar Land Rover launched the Reimagine strategy, which focuses on modern luxury and positive social impact.

As part of this, Jaguar is aiming to be an all-electric luxury brand by 2025, while Land Rover is aiming to have an all-electric range by the end of the decade. Jaguar’s transition to electric mobility has already begun with the launch of the fully electric I-Pace SUV, alongside the E-Pace and F-Pace plug-in hybrids.

Meanwhile, Land Rover is set to launch a battery electric Range Rover in 2024. The new Range Rover is now available with a plug-in hybrid, with CO2 emissions as low as 18g/km and 70 miles of EV range. The recently unveiled Range Rover Sport will also be available in a pure electric variant in 2024, with two plug-in hybrid variants available from launch. Other Land Rover models with plug-in electric hybrid variants include the Range Rover Velar, Range Rover Evoque, Discovery Sport and Defender.

“Our new strategy set out how Jaguar Land Rover would reinvent the future of modern luxury by design, and our new partnership with Andersen EV reflects this,” said Jaguar Land Rover UK Managing Director Rawdon Glover. “We’re on a mission to create the world’s most desirable luxury vehicles and services for the most discerning customers, so it’s only fitting that we can offer smart, stylish equipment that sets a new standard for home charging devices and facilities. that perfectly complements the spectacular beauty of our vehicles.”
