Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN in the saddle with ASSOS from Switzerland

Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN announces a new agreement linking it with supplier of high-precision cycling equipment, ASSOS of Switzerland. The partnership, which is driven by a shared commitment to precision engineering and the advancement of technology-driven equipment, will bring together two companies working at the highest level within sports technology.

For our first collaboration together, we’ve created a t-shirt inspired by the blurring “speed change” effect of racing machines in motion.

Both ASSOS and Sauber Motorsport, the organization that runs the Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN, are very proud of the Swiss precision, history and engineering principles that have driven them both for the last fifty years. ASSOS’s core mission is to produce equipment, not clothing: a mission that has seen it live by its mantra of “destroy, restore, improve” on its way to over 400 World and Olympic medals. With more than 25 patents, ASSOS develops its own textiles and refines its product over several years, seeking the symbiosis of total comfort and technical performance.

As part of this relationship, ASSOS will provide the Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN with bespoke cycling apparel to help improve the health, well-being and performance of the team’s drivers and staff.

Frédéric Vasseur, Team Principal Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN: “The key to success is not only technological advancement, but mainly human performance: ASSOS shares this principle with us: they tirelessly improve their products to bring out the best in every human being. ASSOS will help our drivers and all team members reach their full potential by pushing them towards better health and well-being – I can’t wait to start working with them.”

Derek Bouchard-Hall, CEO of ASSOS Switzerland: “ASSOS and Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN are kindred spirits: both organizations seek to push the boundaries of human performance through technological innovation. We jumped at the chance to work with the team when we discovered that our admiration for their exceptional F1 team matched their passion for cycling and the ASSOS brand.”

About ASSOS:
Equipment, not clothes. Through more than 45 years, more than 400 Olympic and World Championship medals and 25 patents, the ASSOS protocol stands firm: DESTROY, RESET, UPGRADE. Whether it’s developing our own textiles, testing prototypes with WorldTour athletes, or refining a product over several years, the blend of total comfort and technical performance remains the ace, stitched into every item that bears the ASSOS name.
